Whar’s mine?

Oh, here it is. “Reid”:http://photodude.com/article/2687/ passed along a new game. What music is on your hard drive alphabetically in the iTunes folder? There isn’t a whole lot on my hd, maybe a couple of gigs, mostly jazz and a few other artists (a very weird and wide range here). So not to be *too* repetitive, I grabbed a few of these from my cds.

All Blues, Miles Davis
Big Black Mariah, Tom Waits
Cold, cold Heart, Hank Williams
Don’t Talk, Brian Wilson
East-West, Butterfield Blues Band
Forever My Darling, Johnnie Ace
Gun Street Girl, Tom Waits
Heros and Villians, Brian Wilson
It was a very good year, Frank Sinatra
Jesus Doesn’t Want me for a Sunbeam, Nirvana
Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Bob Dylan
Love is Strange, Buddy Holly
My Favorite Things, John Coltrane
Not Fade Away, Buddy Holly
Ooh Las Vegas, Gram Parsons
Playin’ in the Band, Dead
Quiet Nights, Miles Davis
Run Run Run, Velvet Underground
Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands, Bob Dylan
The Stranger Song, Leonard Cohen
Union Square, Tom Waits
Voodoo Child, Jimi Hendrix
Winter Lady, Leonard Cohen
x-nothing
You’re Still on my Mind, Byrds
z-nothing

Is there an analysis here? I hope not. To quote Duke Ellington, “I like music”. Lots of time it will be jazz, primarily from the bebop and cool eras, a *lot* of Tom Waits, various classic rock & blues artists I’ll be into and need to listen to several albums at a sitting. Some country, but only the good of the old stuff (I throw Gram Parsons in there because he was definately old school). I’ve got Buddy Holly’s entire catalog. Strangely enough, his stuff from the Nashville recordings sounds like he could’ve been imitating early Beatles songs. Yes, really, I know.
